Client Problem: Douglas County, Washington was faced with initiating two large projects requiring enormous volumes of data and documents. With hundreds of internal and external users across dozens of organizations, they needed a tool and team to create a tailored solution that provided the security, workflow tools, scalability, and ease of use for their unique needs.
Natoma Solution: After careful analysis of software tools and integrators available in the market, Douglas County selected Natoma and our PCE solution. PCE is a highly-customizable collaboration tool that helps manage people, teams, and projects to cooperatively prepare and publish large, complex documents often involving thousands of files. Natoma tailored the PCE to the culture and processing standards of DCPUD and hosted the resulting solution. Hundreds of gigabytes of data involving tens of thousands of files were successfully managed.
Result: The PCE was successfully deployed and in place before the project teams started. With a highly customized interface, the need for training was eliminated. All users successfully collaborated and were managed through thousands of individual workflows. All documents were completed on time.
